- Two weeks ago on my birthday, my former 16- year- old Woods A.C. went out. It had been sluggish a few days before, but now it wasn't working. Early morning, but the day was warmed. It had been sluggish a few days before, but now it wasn't working. Early morning, but the day was warmed. I was concerned about my pets, especially for a 10.5 year old dog. I phoned Woods and told them my concerns. In a timely manner, the doorbell rang. There on the doorstep was a Wood Comfort tech. His uniform was stenciled with the company's name. He introduced himself as Miguel. I told him my nickname. He put a mat down on my doormat and put paper coverings on his shoes. He entered the house and checked the blower in the attic. Downstairs, he looked at the thermostat. He then went outside to check the Bryant Unit. All 3 components were out in the side panel. He replaced them. And my AC started right up. I'm thankful that Woods Comfort responded quickly because my dog was panting heavily. The cat was outside. Miguel worked efficiently. He carefully checked each AC part to diagnose the problem. He was careful about my floors. And very kind. My parents used Woods Comfort when they retired here. And I've used them for several house repairs. It's unusual these days to find a company that listens to a customer's needs and to respond as soon as they can. I will definitely phone them again for another repair. Read Less
