This system allows the homeowner to monitor and change the temperature in different parts of the house, which saves energy instead of heating or cooling the entire home to the same temperature.
If you’re building an addition to your home or constructing a new home, you have control over the HVAC system and can invest in ways to keep your monthly costs down. If you’re adding a home addition, consider using a ductless mini-split in the room so you can control its temperature without having to add ductwork. If you’re building a new home, make sure the builders are aware of energy-efficient insulation, windows, and HVAC systems to help keep monthly costs down.
